How do I cancel my subscription?

Open your iPhone's Settings → tap your name → Subscriptions → find Daily Affirmations and tap Cancel Subscription. You'll retain access until the end of the billing period.

Will I be charged during the free trial?

No. Your free trial lasts 3 days with no charge. If you don't cancel before the trial ends, your subscription renews at $19.99/year automatically through your Apple ID.

How do I restore my purchase on a new device?

Open the app, go to Settings inside the app, and tap Restore Purchases. Make sure you're signed into the same Apple ID you used to subscribe.

Can I use the app without internet?

Yes. Once your affirmations are set up, listening works fully offline. An internet connection is only needed to sync your data across devices or update content.

How do I add the widget to my home screen?

Long-press an empty area of your home screen, tap the + button in the top corner, search for "Daily Affirmations," and choose the widget size you'd like.

My notifications aren't coming through. What should I do?

Go to your iPhone's Settings → Notifications → Daily Affirmations With Sound and ensure notifications are allowed. Also check that your phone isn't in Focus or Do Not Disturb mode during your scheduled reminder times.

1. Overview & Scope

Spark Digital SpA ("we," "us," or "our") operates the Daily Affirmations With Sound mobile application (the "App"). This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, why we collect it, how we use and share it, and the choices you have about your information.

This Policy applies to the App available on the Apple App Store (App ID: 6738590917) and any related services we operate. By using the App, you agree to the practices described here.

Apple App Store privacy declaration: The App collects Purchases, User Identifiers, and Usage Data, which may be used for advertising, analytics, and marketing purposes. Some data may be used to track you across apps and websites owned by other companies.

Information You Provide

If you create custom affirmations, they are stored on your device and, if sync is enabled, in our backend. We do not use the content of your personal affirmations for advertising purposes.

The App does not require you to create an account, provide your name, or supply an email address to use core features.

Automatically Collected Information

When you use the App, we and our third-party partners automatically collect technical information such as device type, operating system version, app version, time zone, and language settings to operate and improve the App.

Push Notifications

If you allow push notifications, Apple assigns your device a notification token that we use solely to deliver your scheduled affirmation reminders. Notification tokens are not shared with advertising networks.

3. How We Use Your Information

  • Providing the App — delivering affirmations, managing your subscription, sending scheduled reminders, and displaying widgets.
  • Analytics & Product Improvement — understanding how users engage with features to fix bugs, prioritize improvements, and build new functionality.
  • Developer Marketing — measuring the effectiveness of our own campaigns that promote the App.
  • Third-Party Advertising — with your consent (via Apple's ATT prompt), using identifiers to serve relevant ads for our App on other platforms and to measure ad performance.
  • Fraud Prevention & Security — detecting and preventing abuse, unauthorized access, or fraudulent transactions.
  • Legal Compliance — fulfilling legal obligations, responding to law enforcement requests, and enforcing our terms.

We do not sell your personal information to data brokers or use it to build advertising profiles for products unrelated to our own App.

4. Information Sharing & Disclosure

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only in the following circumstances:

Service Providers

We engage trusted third-party companies to help operate the App — including subscription management platforms, analytics providers, crash reporting tools, and cloud infrastructure. These providers process data on our behalf under contractual confidentiality and data-protection obligations.

Advertising Partners

With your consent (see Section 5), we share device identifiers and in-app event data with advertising attribution partners to understand which marketing campaigns led to App installs or subscriptions.

Apple

Purchases and subscriptions are processed by Apple's App Store. Apple's handling of that data is governed by Apple's Privacy Policy.

Business Transfers

If Spark Digital SpA is acquired or merges with another company, your information may be transferred as part of that transaction. We will notify you of any such change via the App or by updating this Policy.

Legal Requirements

We may disclose your information if required by law, court order, or governmental authority, or when necessary to protect the rights, property, or safety of our users, our company, or the public.

5. Cross-App Tracking & ATT

The App may use your device's advertising identifier (IDFA) to track your activity across other apps and websites for the purposes of delivering or measuring targeted advertising.

Under Apple's App Tracking Transparency (ATT) framework, we ask for your permission before tracking you. When the prompt appears:

  • Allow Tracking: we may use your IDFA to attribute App installs to advertising campaigns and measure ad performance across platforms.
  • Ask App Not to Track: we will not use your IDFA for cross-app advertising. All core App features remain fully available.

You can change your choice at any time in iPhone Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking → Daily Affirmations With Sound.

6. Third-Party Services

Subscription Management

In-app purchases and billing are handled via Apple's StoreKit framework and may involve a third-party subscription management platform. These services receive purchase history and transaction identifiers to validate your entitlement to premium features.

Analytics

We use analytics tools to understand user behavior within the App. These tools may collect device identifiers, session data, and interaction events in aggregated form to help us improve the App experience.

Advertising Attribution

We may use advertising measurement services to understand which marketing channels drive App installs. These services use Apple's SKAdNetwork framework or, with your ATT consent, your IDFA to attribute conversions.

Crash Reporting

Crash logs and diagnostic data are collected to identify and fix bugs. This data is anonymized and is not linked to your identity.

7. Data Retention

  • Account & subscription data — retained for the duration of your subscription plus up to 3 years for tax, legal, and fraud-prevention purposes.
  • Usage analytics — aggregated data may be retained indefinitely in de-identified form; event-level data linked to identifiers is retained for up to 24 months.
  • Advertising data — conversion event data linked to campaigns is retained for up to 90 days or as required by applicable platform policies.
  • Crash logs — retained for up to 12 months.

You may request deletion of your personal data at any time (see Section 10). Upon a valid request, we will delete or anonymize your information within 30 days, except where retention is required by law.

8. Security

We implement industry-standard technical and organizational measures to protect your information — including encryption in transit (TLS), access controls, and regular security reviews.

No method of electronic storage or transmission is 100% secure. If you believe your security has been compromised, please contact us immediately at dailyaffirmations@sparkdigital.tech.

9. Children's Privacy

The App has an age rating of 4+ on the App Store. However, the App is not directed at children under the age of 13 (or 16 where a higher age applies, such as in certain EU member states), and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under those ages.

If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has provided us with personal information without your consent, please contact us at dailyaffirmations@sparkdigital.tech. We will promptly delete such information from our records.

10. Your Privacy Rights

Depending on your location, you may have the following rights regarding your personal information:

  • Access — request a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
  • Correction — request that we correct inaccurate or incomplete information.
  • Deletion — request that we delete your personal data.
  • Portability — receive your data in a structured, machine-readable format.
  • Restriction — ask us to limit how we process your data in certain circumstances.
  • Objection — object to processing based on our legitimate interests.
  • Withdraw Consent — where processing is based on consent (e.g., ATT tracking), withdraw it at any time without affecting prior processing.

To exercise any of these rights, email dailyaffirmations@sparkdigital.tech. We will respond within 30 days and may need to verify your identity.

Opting Out of Advertising Tracking

Go to iPhone Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking and disable tracking for the App, or enable Limit Ad Tracking in your device settings.

Managing Notifications

Disable push notifications at any time in iPhone Settings → Notifications → Daily Affirmations With Sound.

11. California Residents (CCPA/CPRA)

California residents have the following additional rights under the CCPA and CPRA:

  • Know what categories and specific pieces of personal information we collect, use, or disclose.
  • Delete your personal information (subject to exceptions).
  • Correct inaccurate personal information.
  • Opt-Out of Sale/Sharing — we do not sell your data for money. However, sharing identifiers with advertising partners may constitute "sharing" under CPRA. You may opt out via the ATT prompt or device settings.
  • Non-Discrimination — we will not treat you differently for exercising your privacy rights.

Data Disclosed for Business Purposes (Last 12 Months)

Identifiers (device ID, user ID), purchase history, and product interaction data were disclosed to service providers for analytics, subscription management, and crash reporting.

Data Shared for Advertising (Last 12 Months)

Device identifiers and advertising event data were shared with advertising measurement partners, with user consent via ATT where applicable.

12. EEA & UK Residents (GDPR)

If you are in the European Economic Area (EEA) or the United Kingdom, GDPR or UK GDPR applies. Spark Digital SpA acts as the data controller for your personal data.

13. International Data Transfers

Spark Digital SpA is based in Chile. Your information may be transferred to and processed in countries that may not offer the same level of data protection as your home jurisdiction.

Where we transfer EEA or UK data to third parties outside these regions, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs) approved by the European Commission, adequacy decisions, or other lawful transfer mechanisms. Contact us for details.

14. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we make material changes, we will update the "Last updated" date above and notify you via a notice within the App. For significant changes affecting your rights, we will provide more prominent notice (such as an in-app modal).

Continued use of the App after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Policy.
